What was the highlight of VIME La Reserva de Marbella

Value for money.

Nice concept of the hotel. Our duplex was clean, yet at least minor repairs are required, as the property look outdated.

The front door is installed so that there is a huge opening at the bottom through which ants, beetles and other nature residents get into the room.

3 tries to get the right accomadations.

It took 3 times to get the booking straightened out. The first room didn't have the right beds. The second try the room smelled of chlorine. The 3rd room had a lot of stairs to navigate.

Good pool area

We have checked about possibilities of late check out and personnel said that we need to check it day before the check out since they will see the availability then, so we did that - and then they say that it is payable. Okey, but why you did not said that right away? By the way the hotel was less than half busy, so they had possibility for late check out. Just be honest as everyone see how many rooms are booked.

there for only a few days and everything was brilliant, lovely views from apartment balcony

the views were amazing, the receptionists generally catered to our needs

some of the furnishing was a little outdated but it's understandable

Pools and restaurants are very good... ..Good place to relax..

I booked at booking.com for 2 adults and a 9 year old and on arrival the receptionist ( think she was a Romanian lady wasn't very polite) ..told me the girl had nowhere to sleep cos I had booked for a single room..I argued I had specified a room for me and partner and bed for a 9 year old . At the end she gave me an apartment with a sofa bed.. But she was very rude .. Apart from her all other staff where very nice .

Marbella level quality without Marbella level prices

Very convenient being a short distance after A-7 turnoff yet discreet , tranquil setting . The apartment was spacious and well equipped and there was a small supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. Quality of food at the poolside restaurant was excellent.

Good

The swimming pool is amazing, its getting taking care of very well. They are always bussy to get the pool optimal and the cleaning around it. Also the appartments are very big and the breakfast also offers enough. Within 20 minuts you are in the centre of Marbella itself.

The service. The first 3 nights our neighbours were very loud and we could not get any sleep at all. Complained to the reception multiple times and they dont do anything about it. They only say "sorry" and "your neighbours check out in 2 days so deal with it" Also the cleaning in the appartment could be better. Our appartment was not that clean when we arrived.

Overall decent stay

I loved the pool area, it was lovely & clean

The beds weren’t as comfy as I’d like them to be but they did the job. The downstairs bathroom flooded every time we had a shower. The very hot, long walk to/from reception with our bags was not ideal but the apartment itself was on a road where Ubers could easily find!

Amazing location and lovely clean and smart looking apartment

The location was amazing and everywhere seemed very clean. We got upgraded from a twin room to a two bedroom apartment which was amazing. The only facility I used was the outside pool which was clean and nice. Free parking very near our apartment was also great.

Reception was up a steep(ish) hill. Such a minor complaint and completely unavoidable so nothing to be upset about.

Week on the Costa del Sol

The property is centrally located on the Costa del Sol and easy to reach from the A7.

The apartment lacked some amenities and the beds were not very comfortable.

Relaxing stay in a lovely location

The grounds are lovely and peaceful. I will say we were here off-season. You can see the sea although it's about 3 km away. We had a Casita which was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would sunbathe on our terrace which was connected to our bedroom. It was private and a lovely sun trap. We swam in the indoor pool and used the Jacuzzi. We ate at the cafe onsite and also had a drink at the bar. We also had a patio off of our living room which we loved sitting out on and having coffee. Overall we had a great time.

The location is a ways out from Marbella. If you plan on staying and relaxing, that's fine. If you are using public transport it's hard to get places and the bus schedule is not in sync on Google. It takes about an hour on the bus to get to Old Town Marbella. You just have to factor that in and take taxis as well if you do not have a car.

Overall it was a gorgeous place to stay and the staff were very polite.

The property is located in a very quiet residential area, it is surrounded by orange trees and palm trees. Public transport is easily accessible from the property and not too far from the beach.

I appreciate that it is a quiet time of year, but I didn’t like the fact that after 5pm during the week there is no option to have a food/drink service. Only fri/sat/sun the restaurant is open until 9. It is in a quiet area and nothing nearby to get food, I was bed only so did not have cooking appliances to make anything.

Very Good

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The location was helpful to me as my parents stayed nearby in their appt. The breakfast for me was the let down. It wasn't replenished v well but buffet breakfasts can be like that. The bar and restaurant was lovely. It suited my needs well.

Breakfast does need work, in my opinion. Otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. Relaxed.
